Winter Survival and Tracking on Snowshoes

3 hour tour, including warm drink

Learn how reindeer herders, hunters and settlers used to live through the harsh winter conditions of the north. Walking on snowshoes, you’ll study the tracks from animals and birds found in the local surroundings, learn where is best to find shelter, and how keep warm by regulating body temperature. Making a fire out in the snow, which you’ll use to make traditional Swedish coffee for a warming fika break.
