SAUNA ON THE LAKE (WITH SHOWER)

An extraordinary and unique feature of the camp that is bound to captivate guests! In the winter it becomes a part of the frozen ice, and a small ice pool is available for guests to take a refreshing dip after their sauna session. It is one of the most enchanting highlights of a winter stay at the camp. This is the designated area for guests to have their showers and sauna sessions. The traditional wood fired sauna is equipped with a 12-volt shower system. Guests have private timeslots to enjoy the sauna and shower facilities, ensuring a comfortable and cosy experience during their stay at the camp.

DINING & LOUNGE AREA

Aurora Safari Camp has a tented communal lounge and dining area with a fireplace. There are comfortable resting chairs around the fireplace to sit back and relax and there is a bar with a small kitchen from which delicious meals are served by the hosts. Outside on the veranda guests will find an outdoor fireplace where guests can sit and relax with a great view of the frozen Råne River and the lake.

LAND SAUNA

Enjoy the sights and sounds of the forest surrounding the camp while you wash and unwind after an adventure filled day. The traditional wood fired sauna is equipped with a 12-volt shower system. Guests have private timeslots to enjoy the sauna and shower facilities, ensuring a comfortable and cosy experience during their stay at the camp.

Included Activities & Experiences

The use of the below equipment is included in a stay at the camp for guests to use as and when they wish. Guides will get guests started if they want to explore by themselves or they will come along and lead if guests would prefer. The area has a varied terrain, and the guides and hosts keep a many different tracks open to get around in throughout the months of winter.

FAT BIKING

These are an excellent option for exploring the winter tracks around the camp. These snow-adapted mountain bikes are designed with wider tyres, making them ideal for cruising through snowy terrains.

KICKSLEDDING

For centuries, kicksleds have been a popular mode of transportation in the North, making them an ideal choice for exploring the snowy terrain in comfort. The smooth runners ensure a seamless ride, allowing guests to enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the north with ease.
