Europe’s largest waterfall, Storforsen, and is a favourite hiking location for Norbotten locals. The water never fully freezes at any point in the year, and the roaring whitewater is always a sight to behold.
Winter
The ice caps that form around the waterfall are a thing of wonder in themselves. Follow the trails around the waterfall, and explore the snow-covered forest. This full day trip allows plenty of time to explore and take it all in, and enjoy lunch at Storforsen Hotel with a view of the landscape.
Summer & Autumn
There are endless possibilities to walk the trails around the waterfall, with the sound of cascading water. The surrounding rocks are the perfect spot for a light picnic in the sunshine, which your guide will bring along.
